I am a personal trainer and a menopause support practitioner (official in Feb 2023) as well as a passionate promoter of pelvic health.  I use fitness and lifestyle coaching to help women prevent and overcome challenges like incontinence, organ prolapse, vaginal dryness, hot flashes, constipation, mood swings, weight gain and chronic back pain.

I have survived perimenopause and am thriving in menopause. I have experienced and overcome stress urinary incontinence.  I have experienced a stage 2 uterine prolapse and healed it.  I lived with a rectocele for 9 years and had surgery for it.

I know what it's like to have a body and especially pelvic floor that is consuming all of my thoughts, work, personal life, and how life altering it can be.

I also know that you can overcome your challenges.  I have helped thousands of women including myself and I would love to help you too.

I invite you book a consult with me to get your questions answered and recommendations on how to best address your unique situation.

"Before I met Kim, I didn't think there was anything that could be done for the diastasis that resulted from pregnancy 18 years ago. As well, I thought that my active life and regular exercise routines could compensate for a weak core. In fact, quite the opposite is true - if you're not exercising correctly you're potentially exacerbating your weaknesses.
Since working with Kim I've learned so much that benefit women of any age. Now, I feel encouraged, inspired and motivated. Kim has such a lovely approach to educating us that will leave anyone feeling optimistic about their pelvic health and the opportunities to make small changes in our daily routines that will have a significant impact.
I recommend coaching because having one-on-one time with Kim allows her to personalize your training and exercises and she can customize your approach based on your individual needs. She has an amazing ability to make adaptations for any movement. Kim coaches from a whole body perspective and seamlessly transitions from advice on pelvic floor exercises into personal training instruction for cardio or weight training to yoga and meditation. She is a wealth of knowledge and her delivery is exceptional. It was an absolute pleasure to work with someone of her calibre as well as her kindness."

"When I sustained a third degree tear giving birth to my little girl earlier this year, I knew recovery would be long and tough. But I underestimated just how difficult it would be, even though I'd been proactive and found a pelvic floor physiotherapist months in advance. The first woman I saw was highly trained and highly respected in the area, and yet I struggled to connect with her methods for rehabilitation, and after more than six months still had to wear Depends every time I went for a run. There would be times I'd feel the urge to have a bowel movement just half a block from home after a leisurely walk with my daughter, and still wouldn't make it home in time. Each time it happened I was mortified and discouraged. I wondered if I'd ever be normal again. It was desperation that led me to Kim. To say she's changed my life is an understatement. She was thorough in her assessment, which she delivered in a kind and understanding manner, and I left her office feeling hope at last. The exercises she sent me home with were explained clearly, and were even kind of fun, which motivated me to keep doing them. It wasn't long before I started feeling the difference. Now, I can't remember the last time I wore a pair of Depends and I no longer live in fear of accidents. I won't say that I finally feel like I did before I gave birth because thanks to Kim, I feel better. You can bet I'll be singing her praises for a long, long time. Thank you, Kim. "

"Before working with Kim I had a long- time problem with incontinence.  It affected my walking, sneezing, coughing and laughing.   Plus every time I was about to leave the house, I would pee, whether I needed to or not.   To play it safe I always wore a pad, just in case there was an unexpected leak.

While working with Kim, the first thing I came to recognize is that what I was experiencing is a very common problem and can be overcome with a little work and perseverance.   I first signed up with her for her one-on-one coaching program where we worked on my posture, alignment  and breathing.   We met for 4 weeks and each week she would assign me specific exercises to tackle.  She suggested that I consult with a  pelvic floor physio which I did. I would highly recommend everyone take the extra step to learn more about your specific challenges.

I have since participated in the Buff Muff Challenge and now the ongoing membership and definitely see that I leak less and the urges aren't as frequent.

Since working with Kim all the problems I have had with incontinence have decreased over time.  I  don't wear a pad as often and the urges and leaking are less and less.    Before, when on the golf course, as soon as I came across a bathroom I would quickly run over to it and take a quick pee, just in case, whether I needed to pee or not.  Now I don't pee before leaving the house, don't pee upon arrival and pee only when I reach the 9th hole.  Overcoming incontinence makes me very happy!"

"Prior to pregnancy, I was an active, fit woman who enjoyed bootcamps, running, hiking, cycling, and many other sports. I knew pelvic floor fitness during pregnancy was important, and so I did Bellies Inc pre-partum core exercises - this was when I first heard of Kim. After all my preparation, you can imagine my horror to be diagnosed with a grade 3 bladder prolapse 4 months after delivering a small baby. To say I was devastated is an understatement. After 4 months of physiotherapy I finally go to a point where I wasn't experiencing symptoms every moment of every day, but I still wasn't where I wanted to be. Fortunately, a friend invited me to participate in a kegel mogo challenge, and that's where I learned that Kim is also a hypopressives certified trainer. I had heard about hypopressives, but didn't know much. 8 mths post partum I decided to commit, and started training with Kim. I couldn't believe the difference. After just two weeks I found a noticeable difference in my prolapse symptoms. Now at 13 months postpartum I am slowly reintroducing more intense exercise, I am wearing my baby 30 minutes a day, and I have returned to full time work, all without making my symptoms worse. In fact, most days I only notice my symptoms at the end of the day if I have done A LOT. I do my hypopressives daily (I've only missed 7 days since starting!), and I also continue to do the kegel challenge exercises (3 lifts and 2 releases) a day, and I keep getting stronger. In 2020 I will be returning to running too. Even my physiotherapist is surprised at how much I have improved with the hypopressives. Thank you Kim, you have given me back the feeling of "normal" again!"
